Open for Art is a hypothetical classroom project, which was born from a deep personal passion for creative and design education. Carrying out further research revealed the incredible benefits and need of an Art Integrated education. Elliot Eisner, one of the greatest proponents for Arts in Education, said “To neglect the contribution of the arts in education, either through inadequate time, resources or poorly trained teachers, is to deny children access to one of the most stunning aspects of their culture and one of the most potent means for developing their minds”. That paraphrases the Vision that OFA was created with. It's aim is to transform our learning environment from a STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Math) focused, to a STEA(Art)M focused one.

OFA is an educational organization that works to make the Arts ubiquitous to children through curricular reforms and out of school programs.

The three forms that make up the OFA acronym are crafted on forms that can be made by hand. This is to reinforce the playfulness of our brand, and the importance of visceral sensation in creativity. 

'O for Art' expands into Open For Art, a name chosen for its simplicity, brevity and easy pronunciation for our primary users-children.
